To round out our domestic weekend, Hubby picked up a a flat of strawberries at the farmers' markets for us to make jam. It's simmering on the stove now as I type. Yummmmm!

Jam and a hat
As is so often the case, I'm not entirely sure how it happened. Somehow the Sprog talked me into knitting a new hat for him. We sifted through the stash and discussed design details. Then I spent a fairly relaxing weekend knitting away and watching the new season of Orange is the New Black. I say fairly because the initial false starts and accompanying ripping out were a bit crazy making. But once I sorted out exactly what I was doing it was smooth sailing.
